Late-stage prostate cancer rates went up when screening went down, says new research

Canadian research suggests recommendations against screening for prostate cancer has led to a rise in the rates of stage 4 cases and less progress in mortality, even as other experts disagree and cite harms of overdiagnosis and overtreatment.
