School staffer says nothing physical happened when giving students ride home, court hears

A former public school board employee testified in court that he drove two of his students home one day after school, but maintains nothing sexual ever happened. Michael Hampden-Carter, 39, is currently on trial facing three counts of sexual assault and three counts of sexual exploitation. The allegations date back to January 2022 and involve underage high school females whose identities are protected by a publication ban.
